Tulachermet renewed its own monthly record in pig iron production for the third time in a row
Tulachermet PJSC, a part of Industrial Metallurgical Holding (IMH), one of the largest global exporters of merchant pig iron, renewed its own monthly record when operating with two blast furnaces. The enterprise produced 245.4 Kt of pig iron, which is 10.8 Kt higher than the result in June.
Tulachermet sets records in pig iron production for the third month in a row. The company produced 229.9 Kt of pig iron in May and 234.6 Kt in June.
“In July Tulachermet, operating with two blast furnaces, produced 95% of the 2006 record volumes, reached when operating with three blast furnaces. This result was achieved due to the overhaul of BF No.3, carried out in the first half of this year, and high production discipline of employees. The stable operation of IMH production facilities, supplying high-quality raw materials for Tulachermet, such as Kombinat KMAruda and Koks, also has a positive impact on production volumes” – said Sergey Frolov, IMH Vice President for strategy and communications.
